Welcome! We are Tyler and Samantha Rhodes, and we are the Middle School Leaders here at Glen Oak. Samantha and I have been working with the kids at Glen Oak since we met back in 2020 and have loved every second of it. Samantha has recently graduated from Liberty University with a BS in psychology and a minor in Christian counseling.
We saw the need for our middle school kids to have an environment of growth and community quickly after we got married in 2022, and after about a year of prayer, we decided to take on the journey with this class. We both remember how hard middle school can be and how isolating it can be for kids during that age. In this day and age, these kids need a place where they are safe to ask questions and learn about God at a more advanced level than they did at younger ages. Our kids are a great group, and they truly love the Lord and it is a blessing to be able to learn from them as well as teach them.
We also love getting to know each student's parents and watching families grow in Christ! We always tell our kids that everything we do as Christians should show the love of God, and we hope that through these actions, we can reach those who need Christ! We would love to have your kiddos join us in class on Sundays and Wednesdays!
